Asus laptop stopped connecting to the wireless router?

We know it is not the router because the HP Notebook works and our iPhones work. When Windows runs a detection for errors it reports none. We have unplugged everything a few times, have hit FN F2 nothing. The only message we get is to call a friend who might know how to fix it!

Go to the ASUS web site and download the driver for it manually. Then uninstall the drivers for your Wi-Fi and then reinstall with the ones you just downloaded.

Two things to try if you haven't already.
1. Check the area above your keyboard for a WLAN touchpad. Its Icon looks like a little radio tower. I have one on my Toshiba and if I run my finger over it accidentally, it shuts off the router signal. If it's not lit up, touch it with your finger to turn it on and that should fix your problem.

2. Mouse over the area near your clock setting on your screen (usually it's at lower right) and look for your Internet access icon… Looks like a stack of vertical bars. Click on it and click Connect. If already connected, select Disconnect and then reconnect. (You may want to try restarting the computer before you reconnect.)

If neither of those work, then try going to Control Panel > Network and Internet and review your network settings. Also make sure your network card is working (Start>Computer>Properties)

I need to put all my songs from my computer to my laptop, and the laptop doesn't have a disk holder. And I don't have an iTouch (iphone/ipod) anymore.
