IPhone 6 and 6s resolution is 1366x768. How am I able to watch 1080p, 1440p, and 4K video?
Am I getting the same viewing experience as I would watching on a native 1080p, 1440p, or 4K screen?
1334x750, actually.
It downscales the video to what the screen is capable of, same as watching 1080p video on a 720p TV.
Sorry your screen on the iPhone is the equivalent to 720P in real world use. (1334 x 750 is actually 720P in real use.) So you get no benefit in terms of watching higher resolutions on your phone. Now if you had a Galaxy S6 for example, then you would since it offers a true 2560 x 1440p Super AMOLED display. So it can actually play back 1440p in it's native resolution.
- Why is there no option for 1080p on YouTube on my iphone 5s? - 1 There's no option for 1080p on my iphone 5s in the YouTube app. There used to be the option on my iPad air but it has since disappeared and the highest I can get is 720p.
- Why is apples iphone display not 1080P yet? The good android phones that cost more then the mid range phones have 1440p 1080p displays yet apples is slowing catching up to that when android been doing it for awhile? Iphone 6s plus is the is one of the iphones to have a 1080p display but that phone came out in 2016 why i say slowing catching up to full HD lol
- Why doesn't the iPhone 6 have 1080p resolution? Ever since 2013 all flagship phones have 1080p resolution or above. Why is the iPhone 6 an exception?
- Why are the colors and resolution on my iPhone so much better than on my laptop? I'm a photographer (and yes, I know I should be editing on a desktop) and when I post photos it seems like the colors are much deeper and the resolution is much more clear on my iPhone than they are where I edit them… On my laptop. Which device is "off"? Will they be closer if I were to edit on a desktop (I'm in the process of saving up for one)?
