Left side of my iPhone won't work?

I just went on my phone and it won't let me click the left side of my phone. Any help please?

Sounds like the digitizer is broken. There isn't much you can do for that besides replace it… Which is kind of a pain. If you are going to try to replace it yourself I suggest borrowing or getting a heat gun, this will make the process much easier. Digitizers can be bought off eBay for fairly cheap.

Yes this sounds like a problem with your touch screen it has to be replaced and can't be fixed i would take no advice of anyone who states to changing this part your self it should be done by a professioanl and the parts on ebay are of poor quality.
If you do it on the cheap and repair your self you could be in a situation where it will costs you more to have someone repair what you have damaged

  • Left side of my iphone 4 screen isn't working? Nothing on the left side can be pressed! I did a hard reset (pressing the home and off button) but it didn't work. Then i completely reset it, but there's no difference. I don't have an apple store where i live, how can i fix my phone? Btw, i can still do the *slide to unlock* which is odd, considering that that requires use of the screen's left side
