Ringer/volume isn't working on my iPhone 4S. What should I do?

Today, I found out that no sound is coming out from my iPhone, not even the sound it makes when you touch the screen or lock it. I tried to turn up the volume by pressing the side buttons, but the blocks are gone. I've tried to restart it and go to the settings too and nothing has happened. Sometimes it makes sounds, but it is only when I lock it or type in my passcode. And that is rarely. I'm getting really frustrated. There's even no sound when i play a video. Please help. Thank you!

My audio stops working when I try and listen to music in YouTube or other audio recordings, what should I do?

  • Why isn't my volume working on my iPhone 5s? So when I try to put my volume up or down instead of saying volume it says headphones! I don't have any headphones on or anything and I can't hear anything! I went to my sounds in the settings and nothing worked! Why can't I listen to anything and why does it say headphones and not volume!
