Screw on the battery of my Iphone 4s is stripped and i have tried everything?

I need to take the battery out to fix my Wi-Fi chip but one of the screws is stripped i have tried superglue, rubberband, tweazers, and knives also attempts to loosen it have failed and if i send it to apple it will cost 239$ and the nearest apple store is 10 hours away. The oriinal problem was the Wi-Fi switch won't turn on and its greyed out and i've tried all the ways to fix that i could find such as restoring, erasing network and all the other ways so opening my iphone was a last resort so if you know ways to fix either of these problems that would be great

When you have nothing left to try you can always drill it out. Use a metal drill bit slightly smaller than the shaft portion of the screw and try not to strip the hole by reaming it. During the drilling keep testing to see if you can remove the screw without drilling the entire length of the screw.

Before doing that - if you can safely hit that area by properly securing the phone in some way then you can try punching a slot into it with a chisel (or sharp screwdriver) and a hammer. Once you have the slot well made you can use the screwdriver to try to remove the screw.
