Things you hate about the new iPhone X?

No home button requires you to hold the phone in front of your face to unlock, I'm used to waking up and just extending a finger, now I have to lift the phone, etc. | No way of charging and using earbuds simultaneously unless you additionally purchase the wireless ones. | Sometimes I'm not recognized with my sunglasses on, so I have to remove them to unlock. | FaceID takes longer to unlock than finger.

That I don't have one

I hate nothing about it.

I'm just pleased that the obvious and entirely predictable problems with Face ID are being discovered by those who rush in as early adopters.

That way, when I decide to finally upgrade, the next model should have improved or maybe Apple will abandon an awkward and unreliable method of user identification.

For now, I'm sticking to the iPhone 8: it does everything the X does, pretty much just as well, but without the expensive and unreliable gimmicks. I've used Bluetooth headphones since last year anyway, so the lack of a headphone socket is no loss to me.

Face ID takes longer than Touch ID? Uhh, that shouldn't be the case. It is much much faster than Touch ID. You can also substitute your sunglasses situation for gloves when it comes to Touch ID. Heck even without gloves, for me Touch ID doesn't work well as I naturally have sweaty hands, 8/10 times it doesn't work for me.

The home button situation sucks at first. But once you get used to it, you really start to prefer it than actually having a home button.

There's no standard audio jack and they didn't switch to USB-C cable so if I replaced the one iphone in the house it still could not use the same charging cord as all the other smartphones in the house bought in the last three years
