This iphone can't be used because the apple mobile device is not started?
I just got my iphone about 1 week ago and it's brand new! The first time i tried to plug it into my computer and open itunes it got that error message: This iphone can't be used because the apple mobile device is not started. I never had this problem with my ipod and nano but with the iphone i do.
I suppose your using windows. Click on your windows start menu. Type in "services". Click on it and when it pops up, on the bottom of it click on "standard". Now Scroll down to find "Apple Mobile Device" Right click it when you see it and click on "Start". When it has started, close iTunes and replug in your iPod and it should show up.
