Top Portable Trading Devices?

I just want to ask your opinion on something.

In the future, I'm looking to buy a portable device aside from a laptop such as an iPhone or Galaxy Note so that I can monitor the markets when I'm not at home.

When I say markets, I mean the currency markets (Forex).

It has to have both wi-fi and 3g/4g (I don't know the difference) capabilities.

Please post your opinions of different devices with their pros and cons.

I personally use laptop to do all technical analysis and place orders. My trading styles require price information and iPad doesn't display the information required. IPad is not too bad and can get the job done but can't compare to a laptop.
When I'm away from laptop, I use Note only to monitor and close trades if have to. It has the same features that iPad has. However, I still prefer to use smartphone only to monitor opening trades because I can't draw trend lines easily.
I guess it all depends on your systems. Some people need laptop because the way they trade require proper keyboard and speed is very important. If you don't open and close trades within minutes and don't need indicators/trend lines then portable device will do the job.
