TP-LINK Access Point will not work correctly as a booster?

There's a TP-LINK TL-WR841N Wireless N300 Home Router connected to cable modem on ground floor. Trying to use
TP-LINK TL-WA801ND Wireless N300 Access Point as a REPEATER to enhance signal on the 3rd FLOOR. When working, on the 3rd floor, at times I will get speed of 30 Mbps… But it will constantly (and randomly) drop the signal, and I'll lose all internet connection (often after just a few minutes). I have an iPhone and a Macbook Air trying to use the network. I've tried resetting the REPEATER which will work for a short time; and I've also tried clicking the Wi-Fi help at the top of my MacBook screen… Which leads me to "Network Diagnostics", which either says "nothing is wrong" or "Network Change Detected"… And then leads me through a series of screens to "fix" the issue. It will usually work again for a short time, then it drops. It is so frustrating! Any suggestions on what my problem might be?

If repeater or booster couldn't work, you can try to create a second Wi-Fi hotspot to improve Wi-Fi performance. When I close the wheel and try to launch it again it tells me to come back later for another spin. The game is on my iPhone and is not linked to my Facebook, nor do I want it to be. Does anyone know why this is happening?
