My ex boyfriend gave me his old iphone when we were dating. The screen cracked when he dropped it, and he didn't want to use it anymore. I don't care about that so its mine now.
He has allot of songs on it that I really like and would like to move to my laptop so I can transfer to other devices and create back ups etc. I can't access his itunes as I don't have a password for that. I doubt he'd share that with me even if I asked.
I have the cord for the iphone, and I plug it into my laptop, but the only thing I seem able to access is pictures.
In iTunes if I click to sync with my laptop, it says the phone is synced with his acct., and would I like to erase all the music from the phone in ohis rder to sync with this computer. I don't want to lose the music. Thats kind of the point.
What's a way I can transfer the music?
Plug the iPhone in. Download SharePod, installation is not needed.http://www.getsharepod.com/ You'll see a list of everything, select the songs you want to copy, or hit CTRL+A or click backup if you want to copy all of them. It should look like this:
