Transfer purchases from iPhone to iTunes?
I connected my iPhone to my laptop and I clicked the update option to update my software. But it shows a message saying "There are purchased items on your iPhone that have not been transferred to your iTunes library before updating this iPhone. Are you sure you want to continue?"
There are a few songs from my desktop on my iPhone but I just want to continue the update. Is that going to cause a problem with my songs/iPhone/iTunes?
With your iPhone pluged into your PC, and iTunes running click the file menu in iTunes, click on devices, and then select TRANSFER PURCHASES (see photo).
this should enable some of your apps you have downloaded on your iPhone to be transferred to iTunes so that it knows how many apps you currently own.

So I have an item (an radio show-aka a "song") that shows up in my itunes as purchased, but if I go onto my phone it doesn't say that: It just tells me how much it is like I have not purchased it.
