Transferring Music From My Laptop Onto My iPhone?
Okay so there's this song that I really like. It's a cover to a song, so they don't have it on iTunes. My phone is an iPhone, but my laptop is not by Apple. I read on one answer that I need iTunes for that on my laptop, but I didn't download it. What I did already though, is I used a YouTube audio converter and downloaded the song onto my laptop, but I need to get in on my phone. How do I do this?
Add the song to iTunes (by draging to file into the iTunes library) and then plug your phone in your computer… And then on itunes, drag the song where it says the name of your phone
Unjailbroken iphones can only add music via itunes. We couldnt drag and drop because it would be a violation of terms of service. Its like apple wanrs you to keep your music and figured they would be in lawsuits with music companies if we had our music on their devices and then took em to anoyher computer and copied music from the device to that computer. Boom. Loss of profits. But, we're doing it now through other means… So the only way is to use itunes or email the file to yourself and doenload it through email. If that works.

I used the cloud to download all the apps and music I have, but I can't figure out how to get my pictures. Also, if I were to sync my new phone to my laptop, will it be wiped clean since I downloaded it all with the cloud and not over itunes?

I'm currently overseas for the year and have my iPhone with me, but not my laptop, and I would like to add some of the music from my friend's laptop onto my phone. Is there a way for me to obtain the songs I want (in a playlist) without all of her music (and apps and photos etc) transferring to my phone, or my music transferring to hers? A step by step tutorial would be so useful as I can't find one that explains it clearly!
