Most iPhone apps are NOT free?
I was discussing getting an iPhone 5 with a friend of mine. According to this friend, most apps for the iPhone are not free.
Also, according to this friend, Most smart phones other than the iPhone have alot more free apps than the iPhone.
Is this true?
IPhone operates on ios while others mostly use android.
IOS usually gets the new apps first and it's App Store has better apps while android gets these after ios and most are free but not as good.
I prefer IOS, quality over quantity.
Yes it's true, but you can always get a demo/free versions of a paid game. The other thing is that there are a lot of "Awesome" free apps which are not even available at the play store or any other store, secondly in android there are apps which are not compatible with certain devices whereas in an iPhone All THE APPS ARE COMPATABLE with it so thats a big game changer. Thus there are many advantages and disadvantages of the apple apps store.
There are tons of free apps, it just depends where you look. The bottom line is I prefer paid apps anyways since free apps usually mean not maintained, limited, ads, etc as people don't work for free and won't put effort into something that is free.
Typhoon is also right, one iphone app runs on all iphones and ipad and ipod touches, no issues, while android is fragmented.
There are many free iOS app but not like those of androids. Most of the apps that are free in Android are paid apps in iOS.
- Why are free iphone apps not FREE? Every time I click on the icon "free", it wants my credit card info? False advertisement, I hate it. Btw. Any of you know where to find truly free iphone apps?
- What free translation app for iPhone is the most accurate? First off: Google Translate is NOT an option. All it is, is gibberish for me. Okay, so I have been trying to learn SOME Japanese phrases and words. So, I need a free, accurate translation app for iPhone. And, I would like it to let you hear and/see the pronunciation.
- What apps uses most data on Iphone? Like which ones in general? I only have a little bit of data and still have a week to go but what apps use up the most data? Tumblr, twitter, safari, games, youtube, netflix, facebook, etc… And also, when your at home and have Wi-Fi, does it use your data up or does it stay the same?
- What apps on iPhone take up the most data without Wi-Fi? If I'm not connected to Wi-Fi and use apps, which ones will you the data allowance? My contracts provides 750mb of data (per month), I'm always on the internet though. So, will I go over?
