Turning on iPhone without power button?
Okay, so, occasionally when my iPhone dies, I have to manually turn it back on (don't ask why) with ONLY the power button. So recently, my power button got jammed because of the "flex cable" or something like wearing down. Now, this has happened two times to me. The first time, I pressed the home button for a long while. Then, the following day, my mother pressed the home button (once), and, miraculously, it turned on. Now, this is the second time it's happened. I haven't tried my mom yet, because that was just a coincidence. WHAT DO I DOOO?
Don't let it run down, I actually haven't turned off my iphone in 2 years, no reason to ever shut it off.

Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
- Iphone 5? How to turn on without power button? So, my dads Iphone5 the power button doesn't work.so, if he were to turn it off how would he get it back on? He doesn't want to turn if off and never be able to turn it back on. People say that plugging it into a power source can turn it on. But does that work. I mean like completely off not sleep mode.
- IPHONE 5 HOME BUTTON AND POWER BUTTON AND APPS PROBLEM? I got my iphone 5 a couple of days ago and I decided to sync my iphone with my computer to get songs today, before I finished my iphone's home button, apps, and power button completely stopped working, i can still move from page to page but I can't open anything, turn off anything or do anything whatsoever, I'm really concerned.
- Iphone 3GS Recovery without Power Button? I have an iPhone 3GS. On the screen, it says iPhone is Disabled and whenever I plug it into the computer, it says enter a passcode, but I can't. It's disabled! How can I put it into DFU mode or Recovery mode without using the power button.
