Twitter app for my iPhone 5 won't let me tweet?
I just got a new iphone 5 today i downloaded twitter but i'm having a problem sending tweets and sending direct messages. I can do everything else, retweet, favorites tweets etc. I tried logging out and re downloading the app but nothing worked. Can someone help me? Btw I have the latest version of IOS and twitter. I also turned off and on my phone.
I'm not sure how to solve this. If you've already deleted and re-downloaded it, there's not much else to do. It's definitely not a problem with your phone, so it has to be either the App or the account. Maybe try logging into a friend's account with their permission, and see of they can Tweet and send direct messages. If that works for them, then I'd suggest creating a new Twitter account or contacting the Twitter company itself.

- Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
