Unable to connect Iphone or Ipod to wireless router?

I have a Belkin Wireless Router and it easily connects the main computer and my laptop to the network but with Iphone and Ipods it doesn't connect. The network appears up on the ipod and the password i enter is definitely right but it says that its unable to connect. Any ideas on how to fix it? And if its technical please try make it as easy to understand as possible!

Mine does the same sometimes, I'd say try be near the router or hub and see if that makes a difference if not call the connection people your connected to up
