Unlocked iPhone 3GS on virgin mobile?
I just got an iPhone 3GS 50 bucks unlocked on eBay and it doesn't say if it is a CDMA or gsm but will it work on Virgin mobile?
The FAQ on the VM site says that they only activate phones that you get from them. Also, I do not believe there were any CDMA iphone 3GS made so since VM in the USA is CDMA only that phone could not work.
You would need to use AT&T, T-mobile or Straight talk for that phone you have (any GSM carrier).
- Virgin Mobile Canada to virgin mobile USA? So I bought an iPhone 4S that is locked to bell which they say is compatible with virgin mobile Canada carrier, but I'm moving back to United States soon if I unlock it I can use it in united states on the usa Virgin mobile carrier right?
