Unlocking a Sprint iPhone 4s to work on Verizon network?
My friend is selling his iPhone & I wanna buy it, but I don't know how to unlock it, do I have to buy anything? And will it mess up my phone? My sister unlocked her droid and every time she starts her phone up she has to do stuff on a dos(?) menu. Will anything like that change? I don't want anything like that to happen to it, I just want it to be able to work on my Verizon plan.
You can't unlock an iPhone 4s to work on Verizon
in order for a iPhone 4s from Sprint to work on Verizon, you need a company to flash it to Verizon, which generally they refuse.
You can use it on Verizon using Gevey Sim, or the best and recommended solution is to use Factory unlock.
Verizon and Sprint both use CDMA so unlocking it won't do anything.
Verizon will not activate a Sprint device. Flashed or not.

- Unlocking iphone 5s sprint to use verizon? If I unlock my sprint iPhone 5s will I be able to insert a Verizon sim card and use Verizon services? Also if that did happen would I still be paying sprint or would I now have to pay Verizon. I do not have very good service with sprint that is why I'm asking. I don't want to pay verizons prices so I was just wondering if there was some way I could do this without getting a Verizon contract.
