Unlocking/Jailbreaking an iphone 4 by myself?
So i recently baught an iphone 4 with rogers. But i'm currently with fido and i've been trying to jailbreak the phone. First it said i needed a rogers card to activate the phone so i borrowed my friends and now i've tried a couple of methods to unbreak it and it still hasn't worked… Please give me some ideas and i don't wanna pay more money than i already have.
If you tried to jailbreak only to get it unlocked, just forget it because you will not be able to do so with iOS 6.

Dial *228 then restart your phone hook it up to itunes and you should get a msg saying you are unlocked. If this does not work, go to http://www.applenberry.com/iphone-unlock/ its more money but its worth it.
- What's the difference in unlocking and jailbreaking? My dad just gave me a preowend iphone 4 and i need to know what is the difference? Also if possible a simple free way to change the phone company?
- Unlocking + Jailbreaking iPhone 4s? I wish to unlock and jailbreak my iPhone 4s, however have only ever unlocked iPod touch's. Does anyone have any instructions on what to use for both jailbreaking and unlocking my iphone including detail regarding the baseband etc? That's what I'm unclear on, it's the unlocking side of things.
- Unlocking/jailbreaking iPhone 4S? Ok so I have my iPhone on bill pay but I couldn't afford to pay it anymore so they cut my service off (I can't receive messages or calls or make them) I'm wondering would I be able to get it unlocked to different networks or is it totally pointless. At the moment I can only use it if o have Wi-Fi.
- Locked myself out of iPhone I recently changed the password on my iPhone, but now I can't remember it and can't get back in. I know you can use Restore, but I'd like to keep my images and iPhoto won't let me transfer images from a locked iPhone. Is there anyway to get around the passcode, or at least keep my pictures? If anyone could help, it would be a HUGE relief and I'll even answer a question of yours if you can help me fix this.
