Updating jail broken iphone4 to iOS 7?

My iPhone is jail broken (5.1.1) and yea sure it was fun but as you all know iOS 7 can out today and I would like to get it. By installing it through my phone and not my laptop. I know it will unjailbreak my phone (wich I want) but I heard it can get stuck with issues etc and would like to know what could possibly happen. And if someone has ever done this to inform me what happened. My friend said it bricks your phone but that happened like 8 months ago to him.

You'd have to run recovery mode: http://support.apple.com/.../kb/HT1808 and restore the phone without restoring a backup of your phone to it. So restore it as new. And make sure your iTunes is fully up to date. If you don't it won't take and will possibly brick the phone for good requiring a force DFU and that is not fun to do. Apple has been clamping down hard on those that jailbreak. They are now putting in stuff in the new IOS that if you do jailbreak it can wreck your phone and since jailbreaking voids the warranty they will know if you send it in and then you're ***.
