Upgrading Verizon Phone to Iphone?
Today I got a text from Verizon saying that it is time to upgrade my phone, which I'm excited because I thought I had to wait to April. Anyways, how much do you think (if anything) would it cost to upgrade to an Iphone 4? I would look on the website, but I do not have the password. I'm trying to smoothly bring up me getting me an iphone or even a better phone. My dad has an idea that 17 years old should not & do not have iphone/smart phones, when in reality 12 year olds do.
I think just the iPhone 4 may be a free upgrade, if they even still have it. I think they just switched to the iPhone 4S and iPhone 5. The iPhone 4S is 99.99 to upgrade if you are at the right time in your contract which it sounds like you are and the iPhone 5 is 199.99.
Verizon is trying to get you off the unlimited data plan. What phone do you have now?
By changing phones you have to upgrade or change to the new "Share everything" which is a limited data plan and basic phones are no longer $10 a month, now they cost $30 a month.
Currently you can't get an iPhone 4. You may find a 4S, but more likely you have to get a 5.
The upgrade fee is $35, plus the phone $99.00, plus more stuff they will bill for.
Monthly cost for basic phones $15. Monthly cost for iPhone $100
I think your Dad has the idea that a 17 year old should have what he is willing to pay for, or use her own money for the difference in charges. Come up with cost, plus $85 every month, then he may agree.
- Upgrading Android to iPhone with a Verizon plan? I have an Android phone with a Verizon plan and I'm available for an upgrade. I'd like to upgrade to the iPhone 5. The phone cost $200. Would I have to pay anything other then the $200, or is it just the $200 for the phone, and the plan stays the same?
- Sprint upgrading phone to Iphone 6? So the Iphone 6 is $200 with a 2 year contract. I have my upgrade on my current phone available. I was wanting to know if i can buy the iphone 6 for $200 and that is my upgrade for my current phone? Or will I have to get an entirely new plan?
- IPhone 5s or 5c upgrading my phone? My phone just broke and I can upgrade now but I haven't had time to play with either one yet so what are your thoughts… Also I like my phones to last. The only reason I'm getting a new one now is because my phone won't charge anymore. This just happened and I wasn't prepared for phone shopping…
- I want to switch my old Verizon phone to a Verizon iPhone. How would I do that? My old phone is one if the small slide phones that red and black and the screen broke. I want to switch it to an iPhone I got from a friend. How do I do this?
