Using stolen Iphone.is it risky? Can you be traced?
I hope to hear some technical explanations, not the moral lectures…
there are just so many iphones being sold on the street without boxes, just the phone and the charger and the price is really so tempting…
I'm really curios about the risks…
Mac doesn't track their products. But you can still get in trouble with the police.
If the phone has been factory reset and if the sim card is not added… Then there's no risk. But i still recommend not to buy those phones they could be damaged instead of stolen…
YES. I found a iphone at a bus stop I turned it on and was looking for the owners info and within 15 min a cop pulled up to me asking where's the phone i stole. Long story short they zeroed in om me guickly.
Using a stolen phone will cause you to possibly be discovered everytime you use it for anything. Do you really want to have to worry about getting into some trouble for a few hundred dollars everytime you answer your phone?
Too much worry for too little cash. Get one legally and you never have to think about it again.
- My Iphone 5c screen cracked, can I fix it myself? Or too risky? Is it too risky to fix my own Iphone 5c screen? I was just wondering if I could just pay 15 bucks for a new screen on Amazon/Ebay and fix it myself instead of paying 150 bucks for someone else to do it correctly (and not even you never know if they do it correctly) or is it difficult to, and way too risky?
- How was this traced from another Iphone? I've got a add on contract to my sisters Iphone. Sent an IMessage to my girlfriend 3 weeks ago. I didn't think they were traceable but my sister plugged her iphone into the computer and somehow found my message to my girlfriend on there and could read it as well? It was only one message she could see though… We send iMessages all day. How on earth was it traced?! And withheld calls were listed as well? How the hell?
- How Risky Is a Walmart Grade iPhone Charger? I just bought a 4 feet Black Web lightning connector for $9 from Walmart and want to know if by plugging it in, will my phone break? If I use my laptop as a charge-source, could it break as well?
- Can you do anything to stop someone using your stolen iphone4? Ok so someone stole my iphone 4.i've had the sim blocked, and the handset has been blocked so that no other sim card can work… But the person who stole it can still use the apps etc.eg they are using my kik messenger account, and whatever else… And is there anyway that I can track where my phone is?
