Using the iphone 5 with straight Talk?

I heard that you could use the iphone 5 with straight Talk. I'm planning to get the 45 unlimited all plan. I have a few questions though. What is the catch? Do you need a credit card? What would happen if stop paying for a month? Will I lose my number? Is the service good? Can I use my Wi-Fi if I don't want to use their Internet?

There's no catch. You have to pay for the Straight Talk Iphone 5 up front or put the phone on a credit card. The full price of a Straight Talk Iphone 5 is around $700.

You do not need a credit card to use a Straight Talk phone. But if you can't afford the full price of the phone, you can purchase it using a credit card. You can sign up for a Wal-Mart credit card and make monthly payments on your Iphone 5.

If you stop paying for a month, you will lose your phone number and you will not have service for your phone.

Straight Talk uses AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile and Sprint towers for service. The service provider that your phone will use depends on the Iphone that you buy. I do not know what towers Straight Talk Iphones use for service. You can find that out at your local Wal-Mart.

You can use your Wi-Fi if you do not want to use internet.

Make sure the iPhone you purchase is unlocked, or be prepared to get it unlocked (Verizon iPhone 5's are all unlocked)

You won't get 4g LTE, so you can use Wi-Fi whenever available.

Make sure to change the APN settings to straight talk: settings>general>network>cellular data network
