Verizon iPhone 4 voicemail not working?
I got this phone about a week ago, and never thought to set up voicemail. Well, I've been trying to all day and I don't get the visual voicemail. When I press the voicemail button it takes me into a call. It tells me to enter the voicemail box number of the person I want to leave a message for, or enter my voicemail box number. I didn't know what that was, so I went to the verizon website, logged in and tried resetting my password. I reset it, and then tried to enter it when I called my voicemail again. It still won't work.
Is there any way to fix this problem? And is there some way I can set up the visual voicemail? I had an iPhone 3 before this, and never had this issue.
Added (1). It doesn't even give me prompt when I enter my voicemail password, it just tells me the password is incorrect.
Listen carefully to the directions. It should say "set up visual voice mail" or something along those lines. If that doesn't work contact Verizon customer service for help.

- Voicemail on jailbroken iPhone not working? My phone has been jailbroken since January, and my voicemail has never worked since them. I've asked around, not knowing what was going on. - Voicemail not working on iPhone 6s. How do I fix this? I bought a refurbished iPhone 6s and have not received any voicemails since. I just received a message today that a potential employer called and left a voicemail, but I don't see anything. I went under "Phone" in Settings and the only option is to change Voicemail Password. I tried and I got an error that said Voicemail is unavailable. What the heck?
