Verizon iphone 4s unlocked to tmobile update to ios7?
I have an iphone that is from verizon and i got it unlocked to work for tmobile. I want to update it to latest ios 7. Can i update it without the unlock going away? If i can will my phone keep working after?
It will probably be fine it shouldn't mess with that cause all your doing it upgrading to iOS 7 so it shouldn't mess with that.
If the phone is software-unlocked, the unlock will be removed when updating the iOS. If the phone is factory unlocked, the unlock will stay even after updating the iOS. If the phone is not factory unlocked yet, get it done and then update the iOS. If you need help with factory unlocking, mail me for references.

I want to get an iPhone 4S and my friend has the iPhone 4 unlocked but i'm worried that if i get it non-factory unlocked it won't work. My uncle tried to do it a couple of months ago and apple said that if it was factory unlocked every time the phone shut off or died it would reset. I was just wondering if the same thing would happen if it wasn't factory unlocked? So if I get it unlocked everytime it will shut off it will reset? That is what i'm worried about.

- IOS 7 UPDATE: Can I still update my unlocked iPhone? So I went to a friends phone retail store he unlocked my iPhone through a company wich gives u the code to unlock and then he connected it wit Net10 (AT&T). Pretty sure it was a legal unlock MY QUESTION IS: can I still update my iPhone 4S to IOS 7 even though my iPhone is unlocked? Because if I do I'm worried my carrier settings wuld erase and I wouldn't have a line with Net10 any more.
