Verizon iPhone 5, unlockability, bill, and more?
I have a friend who has verizon phone service. He is not sure he can keep up with the $140 a month. If worse comes to worse… I know the iPhone 5 Verizon is 100% unlocked. Can he just purchase a StraightTalk SIM card and put it in and say to heck with Verizon and just pay the $50 monthly? Of course there will be an early termination fee, but I guess what I'm trying to ask is once he puts in that StraightTalk SIM card, does StraightTalk service trump Verizon and Verizon has no access to shut the phone down? Or will Verizon always have that access?
The etf is $349 plus the remainder of the contract.
if that all isn't paid the iphone would be blacklisted on all carriers making it useless as a phone.
Verizon will always have access to their phones
- Will my monthly phone bill be more expensive if I buy the iphone 5s? I have the iphone 5 right now with AT&T, I'm planning in buying the iphone 5s when it comes out on Friday at the apple store. I'm not sure if buying this phone will raise my monthly phone bill or if there's any other payments I'll have to make besides the $200 to buy the phone
- Will buying more iCloud space let me download more apps, songs, and photos? So i have deleted apps that i don't really need and deleted songs i don't listen to but still there's not enough space to even take a photo, A pop up comes up that says to manage my icloud storage. Would purchasing more icloud storage allow me to download more apps and have more songs and pictures on my iPhone 4 from sprint? It is an 8gb i think.
- Unlimited talk and text but still high bill (Verizon Wireless)? So I have an iPhone 4 by Verizon with unlimited talk and text. When I first bought this phone I was paying 103.00 for a while, then it went up to 104, 111 and kept getting higher. So a few days ago i receive my bill in the mail and it said 160! What the heck. I'm not buying any apps, I get them all for free, my data is extremely low… What is going on? Is there any way I can make my bill go down to it's original price? I'd much appreciate the help
- More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
