VERIZON: Switching from DROID RAZR to an iPhone?

I'm a Verizon user. My DROID RAZR currently is not working and I'm pretty certain I broke it. But I was wondering, can I switch my DROID RAZR to an iPhone?

Yes, Verizon will be happy to sell you a new iPhone for you to switch to. You won't have to change your contract or your plan, but it will cost a lot more than the $200 or so you pay for a phone when you're starting a new contract or eligible for an upgrade at the end of your contract.

You do have an option to save some money though - buy a used iPhone on eBay instead. If you do this, make sure it's a *Verizon* iPhone (AT&T, etc.iPhones won't work), and make sure the seller says it has a clean ESN (the ESN is the phone's network ID, lost/stolen phones have a bad ESN and can't be activated). Once you have the phone, call *228 on it to switch it to your account.
