Will a Virgin Mobile iPhone 6 Plus work on Sprint? - 1

I was thinking of buying this iPhone https://www.virginmobileusa.com/#!/shop/phones/apple-iphone-6-space-gray-32gb/features/

From Virgin Mobile as a work phone to use on Virgin for a few months and then later on add this phone to my sprint family plan with a new sim from sprint. Will this work or am I stuck with Virgin forever if I buy that phone? Best answer gets 10 points.

Hi this subject come back to who exactly richard branson has done a deal with. As we don't know he has his own network what used to be NTL. And he may well have bought into something like sprint.
