Visa/Mastercard terminal paymnent options?

Ok.

I'm looking at an eftpos merchant facility called Fast Pay.

It is a smart phone app on your iphone. It accepts credit/debit cards only & it doesn't ask for a pin or signature & you don't have to swipe or scan your card.

It is much like doing credit cart payments over the phone instead you are doing it in person

My question is.

If you walked into a market stall and you wanted to buy something with your bank card & the only option was fast pay or similar where there's no pin or signature:

Would you?
A) rather pay with a eftpos terminal that asks for a pin
B) Hand your credit/debit card over the counter where they enter your details with no pin or signature. But you can receive an emailed receipt to your email of your payment.

Your opinions would be appreciated

I have no problem with such terminals for small transactions. I would use an appropriate card for that.

However, for larger transactions, I would never again use a terminal such as the one you are referring to, because the bank then requires a phone call to approve the transaction, and it takes like 15 minutes.
