Volume trouble with iHome iBT16?
I hooked up my iPhone 4g to the Bluetooth on my new ihome to test it, and it worked and sounded good. Then I turned it off, wet bak a few hours later, did the same thing but now the volume (even when it's all the way up on my phone) is really quiet. I have already reset all of my phone settings it didn't do anything. I've tried other phones on the speaker and it works fine why doesn't mine work well or play loud?
Just been searching for the same problem, and solution. But yours was the only question related! Anyway, good news, after fiddling with my phone's settings, with no
luck, I ended up on the Bluetooth settings and where it said iBT16, clicked it and clicked "Forget Device". Once it was gone, i just re-paired my phone to the speaker. It worked for me. My speaker was suddenly so quiet, but it's working fine again now.
So just try the "Forget Device" and then set it up again. Hope that helps!
Worked for me too. Thanks. Feel kinda stupid for coming up with it myself.
It does not make sense, but worked for me too.

- Why do I keep losing my sound everytime I take my iPhone off my iHome? I unplugged my iPhone from my iHome and I keep losing my sound and then I always have to restart my iPhone in order to get it back and then I unplugged it again and I lost it again. If there's anything that I can do to fix this please let me know.
- Problems connecting my Iphone with my ihome? My iPhone needs a snugger fit with it's iHome. When I first bought it, it worked fine but now when I snap my iphone into the dock it doesn't connect unless I keep the phone pushed forward a little bit because it is leaning back too far. Also, it is not my iphone that is the problem, does the same thing with anyone elses. Any tips? None of the adapters to change the dock input work with my phone either, they are all too small. I have the iPhone 4 and the ihome iD91
- My iHome isn't working right? So, today, I plugged my iPhone 3Gs into my iHome to play some music, and it would charge, put it wouldn't play music and said "This accessory is not supported by iPhone." My iHome hasn't fallen or been bumped as far as I know of. I just want it to work again.
- Is there an ihome for the iphone 5? I really want to buy an ihome, but i can't find one that is compatible with my iphone 5. I don't want to buy one and put an adapter on it because i read that it could break the phone or the cord. I want one that is specifically made for it. Are there any out there that i just haven't found yet?
