Want to restore iphone from old backup?
I lost my iphone and then got it back, but someone erased my phone. No big deal, I backed it up. So I started to back up on itunes but I had to go to work. I got back and put it into itunes again, but without me realizing it, it made a new backup with this empty phone. How do I find my old backup? It's not in the list of backups and I'm freaking out, does a new backup just override my last backup and make it unavailable?
If your phone wasn't connected to Wi-Fi or 3G, you could try iCloud backup, it has an option on phone setup, otherwise, I think you are royally screwed.
- When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages? I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?

Hi, yesterday I had to reset my phone (IPhone 8 plus) to factory default and restore it to its last backup (April 15th). I also have an iPad mini, which everything is Synced. I got everything back on my phone (up to date) except my text messages. I'm not able to access my computer right now and have read you can get them back my backing up you messages to ICloud. Is there anything I can do to get them back on my phone (they are still on my iPad mini), without using my Mac?
- If I restore my iPhone I'll have to get iOS 8.4 I don't want it. But I need to restore my iphone? Okay if I restore my iPhone I'll get iOS 8.4 which I do not want. So if I restore it and iOS 8.4 is now on my phone, will I be able to downgrade to iOS 8.3? But I need accurate answers. Because if I don't this and I can't downgrade then it'll suck!
