Wanting to get a replacement iPhone but worried about photos?

So, I have an iPhone 4S and now that there are new upgrades out for the iPhone and I can choose from the iPhone 5, 5c & 5s now, I want to upgrade my phone because it has a large crack on the screen from where I dropped it and it hit concrete on one of its corners. It's not even a year old, and my mom has been a long standing customer with AT&T.

Like I already said, I want to get my iPhone replaced because the crack is all the way across the screen and it obstructs & distorts my viewing, and I was wondering if anyone who has had an upgrade from one iPhone to another was able to get their photos transferred. I have been told that the wireless provider with whom we have our cell phones can do it, but I have over 3, 000 photos and I want to keep them!

Added (1). When I say I want the photos TRANSFERRED, I mean I want them TRANSFERRED from one phone to the other. I already have them on my computer. This is the only Apple device I own and I want to have my pictures.

Do you have a computer? You can plug the iPhone into your computer and it will appear as a camera. You don't even need iTunes installed. You can then transfer your photos to the computer.

Best thing to do is plug in your iphone into your computer and connect to itunes and than back it up. When you get your new iphone just click restore from back up and all your pics, music will be restored on your new phone. Trust me I did this bunch of times and this is the easiest method there's.

  • Wanting to get the iPhone 6? - 1 So I currently have the iPhone 4 and I desperately want to upgrade to the latest iPhone 6. My contract ends in December for Verizon, but I'm considering buying out the contract (350$) and just getting the iPhone 6. My question is, is that all I have to pay to have the iPhone 6? Yes, I know you have the same monthly bills and have to pay for the phone, but is there any other charges you have to pay? All I see is paying the 350$ and then I'm set to buy the 6.
  • Sold iPhone 4 but now worried about whether the data can be accessed? My boyfriend just sold his old iphone 4 to a friend, and instead of wiping it out by going to settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase all content and settings, he just manually deleted all the pictures, apps, web history etc. He also left the password lock on and told his friend what the code was. Is there a possibility of his friend being able to recover what was on his phone? Or was his manually erasing everything good enough to ensure that his data and stuff won't be accessible
  • Replacement Pending iPhone. Replacement phone or fix? My iphone is being repaired and on the apple service page it says 'iPhone replacement pending' and below it says repair complete… I was wondering if this meant that my phone has been repaired or if Apple are sending a replacement iphone different than the original.
  • No credit, but wanting sprint contract? I just recently turned 18, and been wanting to go on my own plan at Sprint. Unfortunately I have no credit history. How would this affect me getting the iPhone 6s? Just wondering if anyone has done it with out credit.
