WATER IN MY IPHONE 5s SCREEN?

Okay iPhone 5s got water in the screen and it looks like its on all layers of glass I don't know and there's these grey and then red lines at the buttom of my screen. I'm not sure if it's from the water damage or something else but it just happened. Is there anyway I could get it out? My valume, home button, and speakers still work and my touch screen will freeze and the lines get higher but other than that my screen still works. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

Try putting it in rice for a few days.See if that works.

That happened to me as well. I'm guessing it's inside the screen and not on top of it.
You probably need to take it to an Apple store, and get them to fix it for you. You could do it yourself, but I wouldn't recommend it at all unless you're experienced and have done it before, which I'm guessing you haven't as you're asking this question. My advice is to simply replace the screen. Yes, it will be expensive, probably cost around 100-150 dollars, but it's totally worth it.

  • My iPhone has water in it how can I get the water out? I got a little bit of water in it at my pool and it shutoff within a minute or so, it won't turn back on and I have had it in rice for over 10 hours.
  • Iphone water indicators not pink, still possible water damage? Hypothetically, if you got your iphone 4s wet, but the water indicators are not triggered at all, is it still possible the phone has water damage on the inside that apple would find if they took it apart?
  • Iphone submerged in water, logic board has water damage? My phone was under water for 10 sec. Atleast and in my wet pocket for about 2 minutes. Led wouldnt turn off and power / lock button didn't work… Put it in rice and two days later i charge it apple logo pops up then writing pops up above the apple logo. Will the guy taking my phone to clean it out and try to fix it need my passcode? And will my contacts, apps, photos, music, internet history still be on my phone? Like when he fixes it turns and on and stuff?
  • I dropped my Iphone in water - no water damage showing on indicator? Here is the situation. I dropped my Iphone 5 in the toilet (I hadn't peed yet so all good there). Immediately switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of rice. This was at about 6 p.m yesterday. This morning without turning it on I opened up the sim compartment to check the circle for water damage (checked online and apparently this is where to check for water damage). The indicator was white. It is back in the rice but I was wondering - when you think it will be ok to turn back on?
