We both have iPhones but can't text each other?
My dh and I have iPhones and they are both updated. We can't send text messages back & forth. We can send a message to anyone else but not each other. How can we fix this? Some days this is the only way we can communicate while at work
Do you'll have iMessage set up to send & receive messages via your phone numbers?
Many automatically assume that that is the case since iMessage looks like it is a text app, but that is I'm (instant message, as in internet required). Check the settings for both phones & verify that.
- When I text other iPhones why is it sending as a text message? I have an iPhone 4 I was on AT&T and I just switched to straight talk. In my setting I have all the iMessage and everything turned on. Sometimes it will work whenever I text another iPhone but most of the time it won't. I have tried turning the phone off and back on. It's really irritating. If someone could help me that would be great.
- Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
- Is it true that iPhones can only Bluetooth to other iPhones and no other device? I was thinking of buying either a iPhone 5 or Samsung Galaxy S4, but a friend of mine said that iPhones can only transfer files to other iPhones via Bluetooth, which sucks.
- How to get my iPhones to stop syncing with each other? Ok so my mom used to have an iPhone 3. Now she has an iPhone 4s and that is her everyday phone her old one now is pretty much used as an iPod touch.well I save my friends as contacts in this phone and it goes to hers. She doesn't know I use this so I want them to stop syncing contacts
