Websites accessed without wi-fi?
When my iPhone 5 is connected to the my wi-fi, I can access many other sites, but not this one: http://www.bada.tv/common/app/movie.html. But for a strange reason when I'm disconnected to my own wi-fi, and use 3G I can access that site easily.
Can someone explain why this is?
Try accessing the same site via pc or any other Wi-Fi enabled device, if this happen there might be a dns error or a block to the site, but the site seems to be ok, and one thing check your ip address by going to whatismyip.com with that ip try accessing the site and if you didn't get it, then restart the Wi-Fi router and check the ip if changed and again accesss the site in iphone with Wi-Fi if it gets it might be a dns issue the dns server couldn't direct to the site, or change the dns to 8.8.8.8 in router get in to router
- Why won't certain websites work on my computer? The two websites I know of that don't work are amazon.com and collegeconfidential.com. Amazon works on Safari, but not Chrome or Internet Explorer. College Confidential doesn't work on any browsers, but my iPhone. Why is this happening, and how can I fix it? - Somebody has accessed my secured WPA home network with no password whatsoever? Two nephews at home… One needed the password, one could access my very own home network with no password whatsoever, and did so on another network. What sorcery is in his iPhone? I'm very worried. Again, it seems he can access networks ignoring their security, happened at least twice, not just my own network.
- Sold iPhone 4 but now worried about whether the data can be accessed? My boyfriend just sold his old iphone 4 to a friend, and instead of wiping it out by going to settings -> General -> Reset -> Erase all content and settings, he just manually deleted all the pictures, apps, web history etc. He also left the password lock on and told his friend what the code was. Is there a possibility of his friend being able to recover what was on his phone? Or was his manually erasing everything good enough to ensure that his data and stuff won't be accessible
