Went to bed w/iPhone 4s charged 98% woke up completely dead. Why?
I never leave my phone on the charger over night. I always clear my apps out before bed. I've had the ios7 for months now. My phone has never done this before. I woke up late because my alarm never went off! This is not acceptable. I've never had any issues with my phone
Dude first off you need to calm down, next you need to understand that sometimes phones do this for no reason. I had my iPhone 5s at 96% and i woke up and BAM 18% i recommend charging it overnight, honestly it makes the battery life longer (so it doesn't decrease over time) Now, all batteries have a life-cycle of so many charges; with today's batteries that can amount to literally thousands before the battery will start to show signs of wearing down. So, in theory, charging your phone up overnight is not a bad thing. It won't have any noticeable effect on the life of your battery, at least not for some time. And definitely not 7 months. It also keeps your phones quality up so it works better. This is not the same for smartphones, however thank God you have an apple phone. If you don't want to charge overnight then perhaps just try tomorrow, if it doesn't do it again you'll know it was just one of those once of things. If it does then perhaps call apple, but charging it overnight is the best option.
My phone does, and always has stayed on the charger all

It must have encountered the sudden death issue. You need to press the lock key, the lower voice key and the home key if you have together for some time and then a screen will appear. You then have to wait for 15 - 20 minutes and then do the same thing. Then some options will appear. You then need to move the cursor up and down by the voice keys and then when you will come till reboot system touch it. It will restart and then work fine. This will surely work.

- My iphone went dead and now won't charge up? My iphone 4 went dead a few nights a go so I plugged it in to charge and it showed the charging icon on the screen but wouldn't go past red after being charged for a full day, and now it has changed to flashing the apple icon constantly when plugged in charge I have tried to put it in recovery mode on itunes however it didn't work

- IPhone 5 Dead every morning after being charged 100% the night before? I always make sure my phone is fully charged before I go to sleep. So I plug it in, it charges, and when it reaches 100% I unplug it and lay it down on my bedside table. Recently, I've been waking up every morning to a dead iPhone. I have to plug it in and wait for it to charge again to make it work. I'm going back to school soon so it's going to be a problem if I have to wait for it to charge every morning. Does anybody know what's wrong with it? What should I do to fix it?
