What anti theft iPhone app that uses the camera to capture thief?

I have an iPhone 5 and I have the "find my iPhone" app on there if it's lost or stolen, however, is there another app (without jailbreaking) that also allows you to take a photo of the thief if they try to use it? I tried using Prey and could not figure out the application at all. Maybe it's just me… Any suggestions?

Since one of the fun things with smartphones is to take pictures with it, you don't need to worry too much - pictures will be taken. The trick is whether you set up the phone before it gets stolen.

In your iPhone, go to Settings… Then to Photos & Camera… And turn on My Photo Stream. Assuming your computer can get to your iCloud account, all the pics will be uploaded there when the iPhone can connect to Wi-Fi somewhere…

  • What are some good anti-theft iPhone apps? I'll be buying an iPhone tomorrow, and in the past I've had way too many stolen. I don't want this to happen again, and am looking for apps to help prevent a thief from stealing my phone. What I'm really looking for is an app that will continue to work if the SIM card is removed, and will disallow someone from uninstalling it from the phone. Can anyone make any suggestions?
  • Putting photos from iPhone to MacBook using Image Capture? Newbie question: When I import photos from my iPhone to MacBook using Image Capture, it always seems to copy every photo, rather than just the photos I haven't uploaded yet. So I end up with 5 copies of the same photos after using Image Capture a few times. How can I prevent this? I take so many photos, it would take a really long time to individually tick every photo I wanted to upload every time.
  • Is there an anti-social app for iPhone users? My parents where telling me about some app that they heard on the Katie Curric show talking about being able to "blackout" your phone for a day or 2, but there's also an app that limits you to no social networking sites. I can't seem to find it and was hoping that maybe someone else knew of it?
