What are good brands of iPhone 5 chargers?

I'm one of those people that are very rough on iPhone chargers. What is a good brand for someone like me that is rough on iPhone chargers? I would really like to have something 5-6 feet if possible.

Honestly, any USB wall charger that provides at least 1A of power will be sufficient for an iPhone 5. Then, you just need to buy a Lightning to USB cable. I would personally suggest buying a genuine Apple Lightning to USB cable (a.k.a. IPhone 5 cable) and just use any off the shelf USB charger.

  • Why do Iphone chargers (especially iphone 5) not last very long? I can never keep a charger more than a couple months without it breaking or ceasing functionality. It doesn't matter if I'm using the charger mostly in the office, in my car, at home, etc. Is this a scheme by manufacturers to keep charger revenue flowing or is this the universe's way of telling me I use my phone too much?

  • What brands and models of cellphones have metallic casing (beside iphone)? Lot of cellphones are made from plastics like samsung, nokia and others. I know the iphone has metallic lining at its side and its side buttons are also metal which i find really nice and impressive. But i don't like iphone or specifically the ios. I prefer android or WP8. can you name some high end models with these os with a metallic casing or at least lining but specifically metal buttons.
