What are the advantages of mobile upgrades?
I don't have a credit rating and can't get a contract on my own name.
My boyfriend is due for an upgrade on a samsung ace on the network Three so he said I could upgrade to a better phone. However, when we went into the shop the woman didn't explain what an upgrade means for us. I would like the new xperia z or an iphone 4 or something but how would that work?
Do I choose a new plan for texts and stuff or do I keep the same one?
Will I get a disount on how much I pay or is it just the same as taking out a new contract?
The only advantages of having an "upgrade" is getting to pick out a new phone. Normally the plan would still stay the same unless you decided to change it. Although, I don't know how you your plans work in the UK.
- What really are the advantages of Android over iPhone? I have HtC One X and although I really like it, I can't see why it is better than iPhones aside on it being cheaper to buy. I had iPhone before and I wanted to try Android and so far, I'm glad I did but I really can't see why people get them over iPhone. True I love the screen size of the One X, but it doesn't do anything better than what my dads 4S can do.Am I missing the point? What are the advantages of Android over iPhone?

- Starting a new At&t contract and upgrades? Right now I'm under my parents att account, but me and my wife want to open our own account. I know when you open a new account you can buy subsidized phones. Now my wife and I already have iPhone 5s - we don't need new phones. So if we start a new account with att, when will our next upgrade be? Will it be in two years? Or will we be eligible to upgrade whenever we want since we didn't buy new phones when we open our account?
