What are the down sides to jailbreaking your IPhone?
I want to jailbreak my IPhone 4S. I want to know if there are any down sides to jailbreaking it? Some people told me that if I jail break it then my warranty on it is gone. I know the good things about doing it but what are the downsides?
Can always restore from an iCloud or iTunes backup and its back to normal.
Your warranty will be void, no way of getting it back.
it will slow down the iphone and possibly brick it.
no real up side other that a few useless tweeks.
Well if you install winterboard then it will mostly likely slow down your device. Just don't install it. And don't put a lot of tweaks either. Also slows down your device.

My question is, if I did decide to download a lot of tweaks and it slowed my iPhone down, would doing a restore bring it completely back to normal?
