What are your thoughts on laptops with integrated batteries?

I have my first laptop with an integrated battery. I also have an iPhone that of course, has an integrated battery but what I'm concerned with is this laptop and its integrated battery. Would there be a difference between a laptop with a battery that can be easily removed besides the obvious (that it can be easily removed) and a laptop with an integrated battery? Sorry about the repeats.xD
Anyways, what are your experiences with laptops with integrated batteries versus ones with removable batteries? From what I've read, laptops with integrated batteries, if were to crash, would be harder to fix by yourself because its battery can't be removed. Is that true? Is that the only con? Couldn't you get it fixed by warranty if it does happen? Of all the laptops I've had, I've never had to change the battery. The worst to happen to my older laptops (with a removable battery) was that they'd overheat or does that have something to do with the battery? The reason I got this laptop I have now (toshiba u925t) was because it is lighter and the cheapest tablet/laptop convertible I could find at $799. I will be bringing my laptop to school everyday so it needs to be light.

Added (1). $699 not $799

With an integrated battery, if it fails, it is very expensive to replace. You are also unable to carry spare batteries in order to swap when your power runs low.
