What can an iphone do that an ipod can't?
I know that iPHONES are more expensive then iPODS. I know that with phones you can call and text, but you can get apps for that on an ipod. So what's the difference?
The only difference is looks. Talk/text apps, updates, and internet browser are all the same.
An iPod can only text and call when connected to Wi-Fi. Call apps give poor voice quality. GPS can't provide a good location even with Wi-Fi, only the location of the IP address. In my case, that isn't even in the same state and hundreds of miles away.
The latest iPhone version supports all the applications that the iPod supports. Starting from iPhone 2nd Generation they all compatible with iOS6 operating system but there's a lack of compatibility with all the iPod versions. Only Ipod 4th and 5th generation supports iOS6. With an iPod you can only make video calls but in case of iPhone it supports video calls, voice calls and text support. Iphone is far better then iPod in case of Camera's. Iphone supports Siri, 3D and GPS Applications but Ipod doesn't have 3D maps, Siri is not available in iPod 4th generation because it doesn't have the requisite computational and audio precessing power to run Siri.
- Should I buy an ipod touch 5th gen.or buy an iphone 5 and use it as an ipod? I was wondering what would be better to have an ipod or to have an iphone 5 and use it as an ipod, but is it worth spending more money for the iphone 5 to use as an ipod. I currently have an ipod touch 4g, o and by the way i would like either the ipod 5g in 64gb or the iphone 5 in 64gb.
- Is there an iPod 5 case that makes the iPod look like an iPhone? I hate the curvy shape of the iPod touch. I prefer the boxy iPhone shape. Also, it would be cool if my iPod looked like an iPhone. Is there a case that does this? Where can I get one?
- IPhone 5 vs iPod Touch 5 (latest iPod touch)? Which is more worth it? I had the iPod touch 4 and I really loved it! But I sold it a few months ago to save up for an iPhone but now that the iPhone 5 is here and there's a new iPod touch, I'm confused. Which one should I get? For the android fans out there, don't recommend me to buy android, I'm sick of it.
- How to use Ipod/Iphone on a 2011 BMW 535i with No ipod support (only AUX, USB)? I own a 2011 BMW 5 series 535i With loads of options but I don't think It has iDrive support or something? It only has an USB jack and an AUX jack. It can play my Ipod through usb but it doesn't read it like itunes so i can't see my playlists or songs, it reads it as a storage device not an mp3 player. What do I do? What do I need to get for it to play my ipod correctly? Possibly the cheapest alterative first haha
