What can I do with my old pair of speakers?

I have this set of speakers that are very quiet. I would use them for my iPhone 4 but my iPhone 4 is at least twice as loud. My laptop is at least five times louder. I want to take the speakers apart and do something cool with maybe the magnet and wires and any other part of the speaker. Does anybody have some suggestions? It would be great if you provided steps for how to do something.

The magnets are fun to play with. Just cut them off the speaker with a hack saw.

  • What are a good pair of headphones use with my iphone while running? I'm looking for a set of headphones to use on my Iphone 4S. I do a lot of running, and the stock headphones slip out of my ears. The curved Nike headphones also slip or don't fit entirely in my ear.
  • Rig an iPhone to old speakers? I have no idea if this is possible or not, but I've tried and failed enough times that I figured it's time to ask. A pair of JVC speakers from about 1990 with positive and negative terminals on each + old Sony headphones stripped to reveal the wires + phone = music somehow?
  • Is it possible to pair a Bluetooth dongle with two Bluetooth devices at one time? I have two sofas with inbuilt Bluetooth and iPhone docks. It's possible to pair a phone to one sofa at a time and play music via Bluetooth. If I bought a Bluetooth dongle for my television, would it pair to just one sofa? Or is there a way to pair it to both without having wires running across the room?
