What causes error code 3194 on an iphone 4?
I tried to upgrade my Iphone 4 to the newest ios and it got stuck in recovery mode. Then when I tried to hook it up to itunes it gave me error code -1.tried again and got error code 3194. I'm not sure what causes this.
Error 3194 error may be the result of the connection to gs.apple.com being redirected or blocked.
Follow these steps to resolve it.
1. Install the latest version of iTunes.

4. Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.

Its time to buy a new iphone buddy.
i went to the apple store and they said its hardware failure and i have no warranty
so replacing it cost 150 and with 50 dollars more and a new upgrade i'm gettin the iphone 5
- Trying to restore jailbroken iPhone 4, getting Itunes error 3194 and error 11 I want to wipe my jailbroken iphone 4, on ios 5, so i can update to ios 7. I used tiny umbrella and managed to get past the 3194 error, but then I'm getting error 11. I have tried to erase and reset through the phone only, but it simply shows an endless loading ticker, and not the apple logo and loading bar. How can I reset my phone? - Itunes error 3194 when updating to iOS 7? My Iphone 4 is on 6.1.3 right now and I have had it updated to iOS 7 before. I downgraded it and now I'm tring to upgrade it back to iOS 7 but it gives me an error (3194) in itunes. I have already played around with the hosts file and nothing works (I think I have tried everything). Can anyone help me? Any advice? And don't tell me not to get iOS 7 because I will do it anyway(: It isn't getting to the stage where I would need my UDID registered, I can't get it to update.
