What common charger should I buy for my iPhone and android?
I use an iPhone 4S and a Nexus 4 and charge them with their separate chargers. The LG charger the nexus 4 came with can charge both, but it's rather slow, so I'm on the lookout for a fast 2amp charger which can charge both the nexus and the iphone quickly. I have been reading some good reviews about the Sony CP-AD2, it's 2.1 amp, but i don't know if it may reject the iphone like some samsung travel chargers do. Bottomline is, I want a good fast charger for both of my phones, without burning a hole in my pocket. ( **cough**apple oem chargers**cough**) Any suggestions?
Don't buy a common charger for both devices. The reason is because Apple sends a small charge down the data lines of the cable. They do this so when somebody gets a non-Apple charger the phone will charge slowly. It's just a money-grabbing tactic by Apple.
Also, different Android phones need different levels of electricity. My LG G Pro needs 5 volts at 1.8 amps to charge it's fastest. The galaxy s4 needs 5 volts at 2.0 amps to charge at it's fastest. IPhone chargers only put out, I think it's either 12, 4, or 5 volts, at 1.0 amps. So if you grab a regular charger that is 5 volts at 1.0 amps, it will be slow for everybody.

This would work if Apple didn't screw it up with their proprietary connectors, though. You could easily take a 5 or 12 volt charger at 2.0 amps and charge every phone at it's maximum charging speed, but not iPhones. Trust me, i've done it before. I've taken a 2 amp charger and plugged it into old 2010 android phones, and they charged as quickly as their stock chargers did.

- Where are common places to leave an iPhone? I lost my iPhone a few days ago and have been searching my house nonstop. I'm certain it is in my house.
- When Android user sends text to a mixed group of iPhone and Android users? A family member who is an Android user sent a text message to a large group of recipients, including me. The group has both Android users and iPhone users. I'm an iPhone user. Does this mean that I will receive everyone else s messages like an iMessage group, or will all messages go directly between the conversation starter and whoever is messaging him, without any of the other group members seeing what the other members said?
