What could be the reason why I have no space on my Iphone 4, 8 GB?

I have an Iphone 4 that is 8 GB. I recently just deleted every single one of my apps to make space for IOS 7. I even deleted all pictures and videos and music. It says 4.4 GB of data is still taken up. Where is this 4.4 GB and how do I get rid of it. I have nothing on my phone except for contacts.

Well, first of all, a 8gb iphone is not exactly 8 gb. So you have to really manage your space because usually 8gb will only really give you 5 gb to work with. The other 3gb is for system use like software, data, etc. So maybe delete music you don't listen to, old pictures, and apps you don't use.

If you plugged it into iTunes you should look at the memory bar and it will tell you how the memory is being used.without that info I can only guess what the problem. My best guess is that your iPod is set to be automatically synced. When that happens iTunes will reserve as much space on your iPod as needed to hold every thing on iTunes. There are many reasons not to sync an iPod and this is one of them.
