What do I do if it says this on my twitter?

I'm trying to log in to my twitter account on safari on iPhone but it keeps saying "something has gone awry, reset your password" and it says that when I try to check my unfollowers also. Does it mean I was hacked? I can't reset because I don't remember my email. My accounts works fine on the twitter app though so I don't understand

This most likely means that there was an attempted breach into your account, and they need to confirm your identity before making any permanent changes to the persons account.

  • Twitter SMS & Twitter App Mobile Notifications? I have and Iphone 4, currently up to date, etc etc. When I turn on mobile notifications on twitter I receive both the SMS/404-04 text notification and a push notification from my twitter mobile app. I would prefer to receive the notifications from my app only and not SMS. It would be easier to distinguish tweet from normal texts. Plus The SMS notifications leave my texts list messy. I can't figure out how to do this anywhere. Solutions?
