What do i do to repair my iphone?
So i smashed the screen of my iphone6, and there are a bunch of strange colors and lights of the screen. It's also unresponsive. If i get my screen repaired, will that also automatically fix the other issues, or do i have to get them repaired separately?

Since the iPhone 4, the LCd and digitizer are usually sold as one unit. Replacing the display assembly will almost always fix any graphical issues as well as the cracked digitizer.
Though, how much it costs depends on where you take your phone to get fixed and how much they charge for labor. You can buy replacement displays on eBay for around $20-$40 if you're willing to do the replacement yourself.

There are kits and instructions for replacing screens,
but it's better to have an experienced person do it.
If you do it yourself and screw it up,
you can't blame anyone else.
- Where to repair my iphone 4 screen? So i shattered my iphone 4 screen yeasterday and I want to get it fixed. I live in Newtown, connecticut and want to find a place near by where I can bring it to get it fixed. I don't want to go to the apple sotre because it costs $100 to get it fixed there. I want to spend less than $100 on it and be able to pick it up later today after i drop it off. Are there any places like that in my area. Or just a general place where i can bring it to?

So my question is should I buy a replacement kit for around $30 and try to do it myself? Or send it into Mission Repair (I've had good work with them) for $100 and have them do it? - Iphone 4 back plate won't fit after repair how do I fix it? I had to take apart my iphone 4 in order to fix the power button (it's out of warranty), everything went smoothly, except I can't get the back plate to fit back on properly. It seems like there's something that is in the way. I have taken it apart several times to try to make it fit but still no luck. Is there something I'm doing wrong?
