What do I do with my iPhone 5? - 1

I bought an iPhone 5 from a local Cash Converters yesterday, and I was locked out of it because the people at Cashies had tried the wrong password too many times, so I was completely locked out of the iPhone. I finally figured out a way to bypass it and get to the home screens, but now I don't know what to do. I can't even open settings so that I can change the Apple ID to my own. Does anyone know how? Will a Shift-click restore fix it? I can go down to IOS 6.0.0 or stay at 7.0.4, I have a copy of the.IPSW for both.

Anyone?

What if I do it with Redsn0w? But Redsn0w and Sn0wbreeze don't work, the.IPSW is invalid.

Do it through iTunes if you can. And use 6.0.0 and then upgrade it via the settings at to 7.0.4, unless you like iOS 6.

You can't. With iOS 7 you have to have the password to that Apple ID otherwise the phone is useless. The only way that you can get into that phone is if you show proof of sale that you are the owner to Apple and they have to submit a ticket to RTA to have it taken off but if you can't prove that you are the owner, the legal owner of that phone they will not help you and you wasted your money. I doubt that business will help either.

You need to have the owner unlock it for you.
