What do I need to transfer my music on my sd card to itunes on my mac?
I want to put music from my sd card to my macbook pro because I ordered my new iphone

I have all of my music files saved to an external hard drive. I use them between a mac and windows operations system. Your sd card should have a port or card reader on one of your systems. Choose which system that you want to use to move them over to a usb. Then plug the usb into whichever system that you are using and go to yout itunes and choose import folder -> from location then navigate to the usb and choose the folder that all of your files are in. Your itunes will run them from there. Or once you have them all onto a usb, assuming that you have been able to get them off of your sd then you can load them onto any hard drive. You can also access the files in your sd through the firewire.
connect your phone directly to a computer and open it as a usb device and locate the files then drag and drop them onto whatever area ie: usb/hardrive/itunes folder and access them from there.
Simply copy your memory card songs to mac, now add that folder to itunes. Now you can play these songs from itunes library.

Instead of downloading 1000+ songs I was going to just download my sister's music onto my phone. But, when I plugged in my phone to her computer, iTunes would not accept it. I recently got a mac mini for my birthday and i want to copy the music i have on my phone, to itunes on my mac. When i plug my phone to my mac it says it will have to delete all the songs on my phone, and i don't want to do that because the mac doesn't have a disc burner, and i have a few cds… So bottom line is, i want to copy songs on my phone to iTunes on my mac so i can play them from my mac.
